Stopping Hair Loss

Who would not like to have glowing and enough hair on their head? Having shining and flying enhances one’s personality. However, most of us do not treat our hair properly and do not give it due importance. The concept that hairs are just not connected deep to our system and has nothing to do with our lifestyles or diet is entirely wrong. In fact, your blood supplies the much-needed nourishment for your hair.

You can definitely avoid many problems like premature graying or hair loss, too coarse or brittle hairs by following simple steps and taking enough precautions. Let us discuss 7 main such guidelines as below:

• Look what you are putting on your scalp. Just do not have the habit of trying different things for your hair. Make sure about the chemicals used in the solution are harmless and do not damage the follicles. Do not shy from asking your hair stylist as to what chemical he or she intends to use on your hair. Make sure not to use solutions, which are left for long.

• Do not treat lightly if you find you have dandruff. These small creatures actually eat up your hair contributing to hair loss. If the initial moisturizing products do not seem to work, do not hesitate to consult a dermatologist.

• Wash your hair regularly and properly. Apply gentle massage not only on your hairs but also the scalp. Do not rub your hair in hurry. This will again cause irreversible hair losses.

• Watch out for your hairstyle. It is no good looking that extra glamorous for the first few weeks and then you find yourself loosing hair altogether. If your hairstyle demands pulling back tightly for longer periods like a ponytail, you could be damaging the hair follicles.

• If you notice some patches of baldness, you could be suffering from a disease called alopecia areata, which is related to immunity. Visit a dermatologist at the earliest probably it could be some serious underlying health problem. Another disease of the hair called the ringworm of the scalp is to be watched out though it strikes more in children. An important note to be taken in the disease that it is caused by a red and itchy creature often mistaken for dandruff. It can cause permanent hair loss.

• If you are one of those people who believe that, our diet have nothing to do with the appearance and growth of hair, better change that thought. Healthier diets tend to produce great hair and it is true for opposite. If you frequently eat junk foods, the effect can be seen in your hairs too.

• You will be surprised to know stress causes hair loss. Make sure you take precautions in this. Always have daily routine of exercise and by both physically and mentally fit.

I hope the above 7 steps will make you introspect and do necessary changes to keep your hair healthy to prevent any loss. Of course, hair loss is expected in old age, but definitely, you or I would not like to become grandpa or grandma at our twenties or thirties just because we lost our hair, right ? 

We know it is important to keep our body in shape in order to achieve our dreams and other pleasures in life. It is also equally important to be mentally fit. Only correct thinking and actions can lead our way to happiness.

Here are quick and yet simple 7 things you need to do and see the amazing results for yourself. Once you feel satisfied with the result, induce these steps as a part of your daily life and see how life turns out great for you.

Show gratitude  – On day 1, prepare a small list of just 5 things that makes you happy. Most of us, like me usually think what is NOT going right at this moment. By thinking negatively constantly, we are exposed to unwanted stress, which complicates the matter. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to force your mind to think what good things are also happening in your life along with the bad. By doing so, you will be able to calm your mind and think a way for solutions rather than fuming and fretting.

I love you: I am sure by saying I love you, there is no need to explain the end results. These three magical words should be used many times. Negative emotions of envy or hatred will create unexplainable pain within ourselves and drains away our energy. If you have deep hate within you for someone, just surprise him or her with these words. Mind you, you are doing it for yourself. Therefore, on Day 2 try out saying  I love you to any one person in this whole world. He could be your parent, a friend, a person whom you recently fought with, your life partner or simply a stranger. You do not have to necessarily say I love you, a simple smile from your heart conveys the same meaning.

I forgive you – It requires real courage to forgive someone. But if you do manage to do that, you will feel unexplainable sense of happiness within you. You can induce this habit of forgiving people in your way of thinking. But as of now, as a part of your promise on Day 3, just forgive one person whom you hate. Go up to him or her and talk normally as if nothing really seriously happened between you and him. You only need to let go of that inflated ego and anger. Your brain will take care of the rest.

Give out a compliment – We all like people to praise, pamper and adore us. The moment we receive compliments from some one for anything good in us, we feel extremely happy. How about giving back one compliment to someone on Day 4? Try this out, you will feel happier to give out meaningful compliments than you actually receive them. The secret of this is the smile and the warmth you notice in the other person when you compliment.

Be Responsible: I know you are smart. You can duck away from a complex situation. You can out rightly blame others for any wrong happenings. I do not have a super brain to understand you, but I also do the same thing and most humans have the same tendencies too. However, on Day 5, I would request you to take at least one responsibility of any mistakes you committed in the past. Go upfront and say you are responsible. Watch out, how you feel enormously light, once this episode is over.

Face the Fear: Life is indeed uncertain and so are the events. Fear is deep rooted in most of us. However, what makes the BIG difference is successful people take help of fear to overcome problems. On Day 6, if you have been holding back something just for the fear of failure, it is time to face the situation point blank. Just give it an honest try. You may succeed or you may not, but what matters the most is the satisfaction level rising in you for having tried out rather than just sitting on the fence and imagining a failure situation.

Aim for Success –  On the final Day 7 of our quest for happiness and sound mental health, all you need to do is write one of your strong desires in a list and resolve to yourself that you will give everything to achieve this dream. The stronger the desire, your mind gains tremendous strength and you will be guided by an unknown force to see that the desire is fulfilled. Of course, needless to say the proposed goal has to be objective with good intentions.

It has been time tested and proved that these small 7 steps will go a long way to maintain your mental strength. After all, you like me crave for the need a healthy body with sound mind, don’t you ?
