Quite often in our life we find that our mind and our body not responding to our instructions. This leaves us in a state of depression, anger, fear that compounds the existing problem.

Have you ever wondered seeing a 60 year old man climbing the stairs while a young teenager taking up the lift to reach the top floor?  If yes, what is the secret of this old man’s zeal and enthusiasm?

Well! the real answer lies in our ultimate wealth that is health.  Without sound health you wont be able to go far in accomplishing your dreams and ambitions. Sound health not only includes the physical health but also mental health.  You will quite agree with me that a well toned physical body is completely waste with an instable mind.  Therefore, you should be putting  health in the top of the list of all other priorities in life.

The magic of having a sound health is very simple provided you follow the below simple rules.  

  • Eat  healthy and balanced meals. Make sure that your meals include all types of vitamins and minerals that your body needs to function. All vital organs of your body depends on what you intake which includes  your brain. Treat your body as a system which requires  good and correct food.

      Imagine, filling your vehicle with contaminated fuel.  You  know the result don’t      

      you ?  All parts of your vehicle over a period of time will  malfunction including

      the vital part  - the engine . One fine day you will find yourself stranded by your

      own vehicle in the middle of the road. 

      This will happen precisely to you if you  feed your body with junk food. Your

      engine or your heart  will betray you somewhere  in between suddenly.

      Therefore act now by eliminating junk food and replacing it with  good nutritious

      food. 

  • Being active makes a person strong and healthy. You have plenty of options for being active. You could either jog or walk every morning or play some sports like basket ball, cricket etc. You could join a yoga classes or a gym. You can even do daily household jobs, which requires physical activity. So instead of sitting in front of your PC or television like a couch potato all the time, just sprint and be active.
  • In order to have sound mental health, you need to learn to meditate for about 10 minutes daily.  Leave out all negative emotions like anger, greed, jealousy, hatred, depression, sadness. Just throw them out from your mind in the nearest dustbin you find. These negative emotions not only hold you back in achieving your goals but also take a considerable toll on your health. Some things like stress and depression can be very chronic and can cause irreversible damage to your health. So it worth taking this unwanted things? just think for a while and you will get the right answer.
