Human heart is one of the amazing yet on of the most complex organ of our body. Taking special care of heart is equivalent to taking care of your life.
- Your Diet : As the old saying goes what you sow is what you reap, the same rule applies to our eating habits. If we eat food that consists healthy nutrients, fibers, vitamins you have less chance of getting a heart attack. This food includes fresh vegetables, fruits, cereals, skimmed milk etc. Contrary to this, if you choose to satisfy only your taste buds by frequently eating junk foods, fried and spicy foods, sweets and fatty or salty foods, you are playing dangerously with your heart. So be conscious of inviting heart attack by constantly gulping those tasty potato chips, or other salty fried snacks while watching your favourite television show in your drawing room. Of course, moderation in these foods generally does not harm.
- Exercise: In today’s world most of us find ourselves in helpless situation as far as time management is concerned. We are exposed to several kinds of stress and pressures in our day-to-day life. Managing household work, going to office, taking care of kids, meeting deadlines, attending social functions, making your business work, the reasons are plenty. When things get unbearable, we squeeze some time and run away for a while for a vacation. When we do return back, our problems only are only compounded due to backlog of work.
Obviously , exercise takes the back seat and is always on the bottom of our list of priorities if included. Here is what I sternly advise to change that. Nothing can be achieved without proper health. You need to spend at least 30 minutes come what may for exercise. Joining a gym, walking, jogging or a good cardiovascular work out helps to prevent a heart attack. Did you know climbing stairs all the way to your office rather taking the lift is also one type of cardiovascular workout? If not anything, you can immediately take stairs instead of using the lift, can’t you ? Cycling is another option you can think of. It provides great fitness level to your heart. Whatever you decide, it is time for you to exercise and keep your heart in good shape.
- Smoking and Drinking: Smoking has whatsoever no benefits. It only takes your life by boosting heart attacks. Excessive drinking is another factor for your heart to malfunction. Therefore reduce or if possible quit these deadly habits altogether for your own good.
