- Inflammation : Inflammation occurs when you have had some accidents or falls or joints swelling etc.

- Exercise : 90% of all back pains are due to tight muscles of your back. Therefore, exercise to ease your muscle tension. Consult a professional for special back exercises and do it regularly for few minutes.
- Diet : As with all health matters, proper and balanced diet is the key to keep your back pain at bay. Did you know constipation could cause back pain? Therefore, make it a practice to have rich fibre diets and ensure smooth and regular bowel movements daily.
- Obesity: The more you put on weight, your back gets more strained. Therefore, it is always under pressure. You find common complaints of back pain in obese people especially those having potbellies. Hence, control your weight by proper diet and exercise.
- Proper posture : Many a times, people having poor posture are known to have back pains. Therefore, in order to prevent or relieve your back pain, make it a habit of maintaining a good posture regardless of whether you are standing, sitting or lying down.
- Proper sleep position: Sleeping in one position through out the night or sleeping in a coil position will make back pain worse. Try a position you are comfortable with and keep changing the position until you finally decide you want to sleep.
