It has been 68 years since the 101st Airborne made famous by the HBO series “Band of Brothers” held back the German attack of the southeast Belgian city of Bastogne in the Ardennes forest. The war battlefield remains essentially as the soldiers who fought and died their left it. Those exact foxholes can be found a few kilometers outside the city of Bastogne in the Belgian Ardennes forrest.
